“Meet and Greet Program – 2082” Successfully Concluded

Kathmandu, 21 October 2025 – The Eagle Think Tank, established earlier this year, successfully organized the “Meet and Greet Program” at Quality Durbar Banquet, Swayambhu, Kathmandu, in a cordial and dignified setting on the auspicious occasion of major Nepali festivals, Tihar and Chhath.

The primary objective of the program was to foster a friendly atmosphere that promotes professional, diplomatic, and intellectual solidarity through mutual exchange of greetings among former public servants, security professionals, diplomats, academic experts, strategic thinkers, and media representatives.

The event witnessed the active participation of distinguished personalities including former ambassadors, former Inspectors General of the Armed Police Force, former senior police officers, retired military officials, defense diplomats, strategic research experts, former intelligence directors, UN specialists, security analysts, university professors, academic scholars, and members of the media fraternity.

Participants engaged in thoughtful and constructive discussions on the operational approach of Eagle Think Tank, Nepal’s current security environment, strategic perspectives, and emerging national and global challenges. Emphasis was placed on strengthening future collaboration, consolidating institutional work plans, and advancing collective intellectual contributions to safeguard national interests and strategic stability.

Dedicated to Nepal’s national interests and global affairs, Eagle Think Tank aims to generate knowledge and promote solution-oriented discourse in the domains of national security, policy research, strategic planning, peace and stability, social transformation, and international relations. The institution aspires to connect young researchers, policymakers, security professionals, and academicians under one intellectual platform, thereby contributing towards long-term policy stability, strategic self-reliance, and intellectual independence in Nepal.

Participants expressed their commitment to translating the insights and deliberations from the program into practical actions. Concluding the event, Eagle Think Tank reaffirmed its unwavering dedication, stating that, “The institution shall remain consistently committed—within its capacity and means—to the protection, promotion, and strengthening of Nepal’s national interests.”

On this occasion, attendees extended special appreciation to Quality Durbar Banquet for the delightful Nepali cuisine and refreshments served. The gathering concluded with warm exchanges of greetings, goodwill, and solidarity, reflecting a shared message of unity, cooperation, and national commitment.

The event was organized under the coordination of Eagle Think Tank and conducted on a cost-sharing basis, supported through individual income sources of retired Nepali Army officers.
